Probate Abstracts & Index ~ Miscellaneous Individuals ~ San Luis Obispo County California While doing some cleaning of the SLO Genealogical Library, a set of hand written pages was found. This set of pages contained abstracted information from Probate Packets stored in the San Luis Obispo Superior Court. Louise Radcliffe, a member of the San Luis Obispo County Genealogical Society was the one who went to the Court and abstracted the information. She has since passed away, but we are greatful for her diligence in finding and recording historical and genealogical information in our County. The following Probate Records were Abstracted:
The records recorded by Louise have been typed 'as is', no attempt has been made to correct spelling, language or data. These records are very old, it is not known whether they still exist. The typed pages are complete in one file: The searchable pdf can be found here. Additional Research can be undertaken by the SLO Genealogical Staff, but be advised that the actual Probate Packets are very old and might not be available through the SLO Superior Court. Questions? Contact The SLOCGS Genealogical Library ![]() Probate Index ~ 1850 > 1899 A typed Index was found in the SLO Genealogical Library: Since there was already a partial index to the early Probate Records [A > R], alpha letters S > Z were added.
